This comprehensive Medical Coding Curriculum is the official instructional program of the American Academy of Professional Coders, and culminates in the National Certification Examination for the Credential of CPC (Certified Professional Coder).  All aspects of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS coding are covered, as well as coding practices, ethics and standards. (80 hours).  All classes are instructed by Certified Professional Coders with dual certifications as Approved PMCC instructors.

Tuition for this curriculum is $1,800.00, which includes the following:

80 hours PMCC curriculum ~ PMCC workbooks ~ Review class prior to exam ~ AAPC Membership Fees ~ Exam Registration Fees

"Today's release of the Medicare physician payment rule serves as a harsh reminder of the need for congressional action to stop next year's Medicare physician payment cut due to the flawed payment formula. For the last five years, Medicare physician payments have failed to reflect the government's own measure of annual increases in medical practice costs, with current payments about what they were in 2001. For nearly half of physicians, the 2007 Medicare payment cuts will range from 6 to 20 percent because of additional payment policy changes.*..................
